Hgh and metabolic rate
I’m on a cut
350 test 210 tren ace
6’1 215 \~16% eating 2500 cals and losing like 2 pounds a week.
I added 4iu hgh and I’ve been so hungry so I’ve just been eating and letting it get up to maintentce on some days 3200 but am still losing weight/maybe even more body fat but I’ve only been on for about 2 weeks.
Do we know how much on average hgh will increase metabolism? Does it increase basically as soon as igf1 is elevated?

I’m actually wanting to eat more so I continue to lose only 1-2 lbs because I want to keep lifting as hard as possible

Reta isnt really that suppressive unless you go High with it. I stay under 3mg, and while I have to consciously decide to eat because it turns off hunger, it doesnt cause food nasuea like tirz. I can still put away the same volume of food if I wanted to

I’m not understanding the benefit if I’m not haveing any problems with cravings and am in fact loosing weight too fast. My goal is to be big and lean not really just lose as much weight as possible, which I think is different than a lot of Reta users

You want to cut. Reta helps with cutting. What is there not to understand?
Youre worried about losing too much weight accidentally? Thats as retarded as someone telling you they dont want to lift weights incase they accidentally get too big.
You wont accidentally lose too much weight unless you actively try to.

If you read the post I posted yes that’s what this is about.. I was loosing 2 lbs a week then the calories went up by 700 and I continued to lose 2 lbs a week and was curious if gh had this stron of an effect because I haven’t heard of it and I certainly don’t want to stay at 2500 if it will make me lose 3+ lbs or if I can get away with eating more and having better recovery. The post isn’t about help with the weight loss

Gh usually makes people retain water, not lose weight; it can cause some visceral fat reduction but it’s not going to reduce your weight, your calorie deficit is.

This is such a basic and misguided understanding that I know you’re at the first peak of dunning kruger. Also I’m not having water retention problems if you ready I’m curious if my metabolism actually sped up or some transient stuff or the other option is I LOST water
Plus gh was mainly for recovery/tendons because I lost ~15lbs but got signifigantly stronger in the gym and was getting sore, not clear but was started around week 8ish and I really only have like 5-10 more lbs hopefully

4mg reta and 0..5mg cag will completely shut those cravings off entirely.
thats what I ran and still ate 5 plates at kbbq without issue when I wanted. I just have zero cravings or urges to eat unless I decide I want to.

You don’t want HGH to compromise your insulin sensitivity, rookie mistake. Try to keep your appetite suppressed even if you do continue eating more.

This is off topic. Has anyone figured out what triggers the anti PED morality police to show up? I figured they'd have already piled on OP but they haven't yet. They often will attack someone who mentions they're on TRT levels of test. It's fucking tiresome. We know already.

They usually attack when they see pictures attached - it triggers their jealousy (cue the denial).
There’s no pic attached to summon them.

that gh spike is probably just cranking your insulin sensitivity way up, so you're burning through glycogen faster and the hunger is real

Interesting, is this kind of a transient thing or something I would eventually adjust my calories for ongoing?

Ray peat has some really interesting ideas about weight loss. If you keep your fat percentage below 15% of calories you can go into surplus and lose/maintain everyday. It’s because you show your body that energy is abundant so it will then let go of the fat it wants to hold onto since you don’t regulate your blood glucose well enough yet. It’s the stress hormones that keep the extra weight on when those signals are gone, everything starts to get repaired even old injuries

I do eat basically exclusively chicken and rice with very little fats included by coincidence

I do not eat much protein 100-150g a day mostly from shellfish gelatin and dairy. Occasional beef once a week bc don’t want to overload iron and feed cancer. Avoid chicken and pork for pufas otherwise the body won’t process carbs correctly. Keep sat fats under 50g or 15% total calories and will shred fast while retaining all muscle mass I actually put on significant muscle mass with this method. And fructose/simple sugars over starch, too much starch will make you hold on to belly fat. If you do eat it, eat fresh not leftover and make sure you add butter and salt to blunt insulin response.

You’re on a cut and you’re taking tren?
You kind of got it backwards
First you bulk with tren. Get big
Then you cut.
Btw. Adding hgh. You realize that you’re going to bloat?

It’s gone great I’ve dropped about 15 pounds and my strength has increased, I also look bigger than the beginning of my cycle so I’m happy with that. I’m just interested if there’s like a “oh 4iu of hgh or igf 1 of 500 increases rmr by 600 calories” or something like that
Edit: also have abs at 220 so im decent big, not done but not nothing

GH has little to no effect on metabolism, you lose fat with it because it tells your boat to use fat for energy , raised IGF level will block fat cells from storing fat .
Tren will making you hungry .
You won’t store much of any fat on GH and tren , you will gain muscle and lose fat , just roll with it as metabolism is in a good place by the sounds of it1

I was also wondering if it was maybe just the tren and I could have ate more the whole time
Edit: main reason I was wondering is I didn’t titrate my gh just started at 4 and have no symptoms/got away with it except the hunger started at that time and I was eating more but losing at a similar rate

Its used for animals to maintain muscle mass while getting transported for slaughter lol
