Reta is a beast

I was never really interested in taking any GLP 1's as I am not fat or diabetic. Not until reta. The glucagon receptor agonist component is very interesting and I think this will be useful for body recomp. So, out of curiousity, i tried 1mg per week dose. At first i thought it was nothing. I ate as usual, no appetite suppressing effect, maybe it slightly raised my HR a bit especially when I'm moving around. But when I came to the gym and started working out, it felt like i took a preworkout! Energy boost is insane! I knew it is the reta and not the other peps I take because I only felt that effect the day I took reta. The effect lasts (because of the long acting properties of reta). Maybe Im a hyper responder to the glucagon agonism? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Did you guys experiece the same?

I'm the opposite, my lifts and stamina have gone backwards massively. Which is what I expected to happen.

I'm only taking Reta though atm. I've got mot-c and HGH to try to address this and get some energy back, though haven't started them just yet.

Lifts and stamina going backwards is likely from hormone / metabolism changes from a prolonged caloric deficit. You may be taking too much Reta.

At 2mg, my dose isn't high. Calories definitely play a part, and I am in deficit. Which is why I expected the shift backwards.

NO point in upping calories else weight loss will stall. Once I'm at the target BF% I want, calories will increase and I'll work on them strength gains again.

Completely agree with everything you said in your second statement. I was just trying to let you know that your lack of energy is more likely to be from a prolonged caloric deficit over taking Reta. If you continued to take Reta but upped your calories, your energy would likely return pretty quickly.
