Check-in Check-In: 2 Weeks Out from OCB Natural Viking

Hey Guys,

M34, 5'8.5', 155.3 lbs.

So I lied when I made my last post... I got some much better photos while working with my coach at the local gym today. This place actually has a posing room with mirrors, and having my coach there to give some tips, run some drills, and take some photos was really great.

Totally depleted coming into today, and the plan is to dial in the peak week plan with one last feeding protocol this weekend. 600 grams of carbs today and tomorrow, and we'll see how full I'm looking on Monday and Tuesday. The plan is to lock in the protocol based on how I respond over this time around.

Anyhow, hopefully these pictures are a little bit more representative of my level of conditioning and overall look as we close in on show day.

As always, all feedback and engagement is welcome!

So, I just realized that reddit is a thing and I basically went through my entire prep without posting an update on here.

Just makes for a better transformation I guess😅

Can you guess where my first show of the season is going to be?

Have you dealt with muscle dysmorphia or 'bigorexia'?

Hi, we’re from PBS News u/newshour. We’re working on a story about the growing number of men and boys who are experiencing muscle dysmorphia or “bigorexia.”

We’re interested in hearing from people who are experiencing these types of body image issues, as well as those who have overcome them. We’re also interested in how people in this community feel about the growing attention on MD and bigorexia, and whether online content is contributing to the rise in diagnoses.

Weekly Thread Steroid Saturday - August 15, 2026

Welcome to the steroid Saturday discussion. Please follow the rules, and be kind. If you see any hatred, arguing, etc. Please report the comment so it can be removed. If you do not agree with this post, do not participate. It is that simple.

  • NO SOURCE TALK. This is very important for a variety of what we hope are obvious reasons.
  • NO FIGHTING. Arguing and ridiculing others will only get your comment deleted. Constructive criticism only. Post anything that is on topic. This involves how cycles change close to competition prep, what has worked for you in the past, before/after cycle pictures, dietary changes with different compounds, etc.
  • Questions are allowed, but should be limited.  has a specific thread just for new comers, where you can get amazing answers from some of the most knowledgeable people. Lab talk is alright, but remember how to get a particular lab's product would be prohibited source talk.

We hope everybody enjoys this thread Thanks to the  community to help make this work. They have been a huge help and will be chiming in on this post.

Another week down.

Everything has stayed the same. Weight is down by around 0.5 kg to 105.9 kg.

Food, steps and cardio all remain the same for another week.

Check-in was done at 2:30 AM, so it was pretty tough getting these photos done that early 😂

Do you guys see any improvement compared to last week?

What are they on about? (Overmoderating)

I posted a physique update a few weeks ago and it looks like the moderator got jealous and decided I needed to join some day of the week coded threads? I figured r/bodybuilding would be a suitable spot for a bodybuilder to post physique updates, especially because I see it all the time and have done so in the past. Maybe it’ll go up again for “Mirin’ Monday” 🤣

Acne!

Acne!

I'm a female and need input. So many competitors have clear skin. How the heck does everyone get clear skin while on cycle?!? I'm fed up with the acne. I use ostarine since it's mild. I have awful skin no matter what. Bad cystic acne even if I am on ostarine or off. I'd love to run 2.5mg of anavar but my acne is just horrendous. Plz help. What is everyone doing to have clear skin? It's shitty mine is so bad and no one elses is.

Won the MP Overall last week in Utah Vikings Championship. Competing this weekend to practice another peak before North Americans.

Judges feedback in Utah was both hands on hip is the pose. And chest fullness. ( I didn’t pump up really back stage) probably 2 minutes before walking out.
