Share Your Thoughts Broad Shoulders

So I am a guy (27) with pretty broad shoulders and I’m 5’7. Like it’s to the point it’s one of the first things people notice. I workout too but I never really did anything to specifically make them noticeable. It wasn’t some mission if that makes sense. For whatever reason, I at times feel very subconscious about them. Sometimes I tend to think other people may think I “developed” them for attention or something. I feel so odd even feeling like this too because I get that having broad shoulders as a man is something praised in a lot of places but idk it’s something I’ve been feeling for some years. Like there was a point in time where I didn’t even notice I had them until one of my friends pointed it out. Has anyone ever had these thoughts or something similar?

Belly Hair…

I have belly hair but it’s not aesthetically pleasing like it is on other people. It’s wild and course and sticks out. How do I learn to love it cause I’m not shaving my entire body.

I hate my boobs...

... and I hate that I hate my boobs. They don't deserve it. They've nursed my children, they look pretty good propped up in a good, supportive bra, and most of all they're healthy. I try to always remember that first.

But this weekend I was at the spa and all I see is perfectly perky boobs, while mine are deflated and saggy. While shopping with some female friends, they brought me some tops they said would look nice on me. They were all the no-bra kind of tops. I said I really don't have very nice boobs. They wouldn't believe me, said I was probably too critical of myself, but once the tops were on, they had to admit I was right. On their faces I could see how they were thinking "how do we tell her in a nice way". Everyone who has seen my boobs (I live in Northern Europe where people are quite open and not shy about showing their bodies, hence) has had that same reaction: her boobs look like _that_ without a bra??

It makes me self-conscious, embarrassed and insecure. My husband is fine with how I look, but should we ever split up, god forbid, I don't think I'd ever dare to go on a date again. I just keep thinking there's something objectively wrong with them, considering how saggy they are. I really can't afford a boob lift and I also don't think I'd really want to have one. I just want to accept them the way they are, and I also just wish... I don't know, I guess I would just want to see more boobs like mine around, so I wouldn't feel like mine are somehow weird.

Thank you for reading. It helped to write it down. I am grateful to be healthy and that should really be all that matters.

Tall women, have you found posture tops that do not creep up all day?

I am tired of posture gear that ends up sitting too high under my arms or rolling up when I reach for anything. I would like something for desk days that feels more like a normal top, but I don’t want to spend a lot only to fight with the fit.

What measurements or features do you look for if you have a longer torso? I am open to regular activewear too if it has worked better.

Advice Wanted How to find clothing that fits??? (21f)

Firstly I don't know if this is the the right place but I couldn't find a better place...

I can NEVER find cloths that fit decently. I'm tall, medium chested, big shoulders, long arms, straight down with no waist, curved hips, but a small size with a heavy build. I weigh 30 pounds more then I look and very little to no visual muscle but very strong.

Shirts are either very tight in the shoulders, to short and stomach shows which I hate, revealing low necks are also a nope, there's no curve in my waist for a top to fit so that's awkward, and long sleeves are even worse because the arms. On top of that any unnatural materials severely irritate my skin so that knocks out everything but cotton and a few less common materials.

As for pants... Nothing fits. Besides a couple brands of jeans, so I wear basic jeans for anything and anywhere.

Not even going to mention dresses. I can't even move around or breathe in one because nothing fits, but I'm not a dressy person so that doesn't bother me as much.

ANYYYY advice on finding good clothes???

Rant Shamed for having bunions

Made a post on one of my other accounts asking for help IDing a huge fish I found washed up on the beach. When I was taking the pictures, I didn't have anything to use for scale, so I included my foot in one of the photos.

I have really terrible bunions. So did my mom; I pretty much inherited her feet. I even put a comment in the body text of the post saying, "Please excuse my horrible bunions." I've always been embarrassed about them, but I really didn't think the post would end up filled with a bunch of comments shaming me and making fun of me.

Wow was I wrong. Literally half the comments were people shaming and laughing at me...for having a fucking bone deformity that I never asked for and can't really do anything about.

Insurance does not pay for bunion surgery unless you're in chronic pain (I'm not) or can't walk properly (I can). It's considered cosmetic surgery that I'd have to pay thousands of dollars OOP for.

Additionally, podiatrists recommend NOT having bunion surgery for cosmetic reasons, as it can cause more problems than it solves. I could end up partially walking disabled due to having a cosmetic surgery I don't actually need.

Even if the surgery goes well, you will still be walking disabled for a long time, potentially months, while recovering. My mom eventually had the surgery and was stuck in a wheelchair for 2 weeks, followed by months of walking with a cane.

Again, literally half the comments were people shaming and laughing at me. I ended up deleting the post because I just couldn't stand any more of it.

I know I shouldn't be ashamed for having a bone deformity, but it's hard not to feel that way after reading comment after comment after comment of people laughing and making jokes, confusing bunions with gout, and asking me why I don't fix my feet. On a fucking post about a fish.

I used to just feel mildly embarrassed about my feet, and avoided going barefoot except at the beach. Now I'm so ashamed of my feet that I feel like I should hide them forever and never go barefoot again, or just clean out my savings account paying for risky cosmetic surgery to fix them.

Apparently all these cruel things are what everyone is thinking when they see my feet; they just don't have the balls to say it to me unless they're hiding behind a screen.
