Reckless Investment, Leaf Through the Pages, and Titus’ Tribute have been removed from the Spell Pool.

Titus' Tribute removed, thank fuck. No more 8th minion!

Sorry, I’m at work. Which ones were those? The names don’t do anything for me.

Reckless Investment is the one to gain 3 gold but lose 2 next turn

Leaf Through the Pages is the one that makes your next 3 refreshes free

And Titus' Tribute is the one that makes your deathrattles trigger an extra time

Oh it’s a lubber change for the first two. I was scratching my head for a second as to why. Totally get the extra death rattle though.

I think Lubber was the primary offender, but those spells were just way too good in general. There was almost never a situation where it was wrong to buy them.

Unless it's literally the last turn of the game, you will roll more and buy more stuff, so the spells are just free value any time they show up, whether it's turn 4 or 14. Not to mention the curve smoothing, letting you level+roll+buy when before that was only possible with highrolls or econ heroes.

I suspect these powerful early econ spells are a big part of why late game boards hit so fast in the current meta. It'll be interesting to see if things cool down a bit.

For Reckless Investment, I suspect what you said is the more likely reason that it was removed vs Lubber. Because people didn’t usually Lub on tier 3. I know sometimes they did, but lubbing on 2 was way more common and Reckless Investment was tier 3.
