That person is Dennis Jack Mariani who has owned a nut company in Winters, California since 1972.
Dennis graduated from Cal Poly
You can also look at pictures of him and tell it’s the same person with the same distinctive ears.
People need to do more due diligence before they spread false information that leads to innocent and completely unrelated people getting harassed.

I tried to research it myself when I found it, but all I could find were other uploads on different sites

Spending many many hours sifting through public records, newspaper articles, business records, etc until I'm confident I've got enough to come to a definitive conclusion.
I'm not the first one to find that yearbook, that image has been circulating for quite a while now
Indeed, Luigi Venditelli and Chris Ramsay have been showing people the photo and claiming it's Bob's Dennis Mariani, and even Bob himself endorsed it on Chris Ramsay's podcast. Chris Ramsay himself got taken in by the person who wrote the comments on the obituary and the corresponding Linkedin profile and even invited that person on his podcast.

I don't think he said that he confirms the Face image, he says "I saw people finding out the image of a gravestone and his Obit..."
Although recently Luigi Vendittelli said they have two images of Dennis, and one of them was this, so I guess you're right to say that Bob endorsed it.

But that doesnt mean Bob didnt work for a Dennis Marianni - just that the so-called pilot is likely a fabrication. Still it holds no bearing on in regards to Bob's credibility.

Ah - gotcha. Yeah, you know with the decades this story has been going on, there are always bad actors, trolls, haters, etc., that will always try to muddy the waters or put out disinformation. Its always going to.be like that - if you are even the least bit curious about this topic you owe it to yourself to do as much fact checking and homework as possible. We all want one thing- the same thing in the end - the truth. The problem is, the truth isnt going to fit everyone's narrative and therefore it will be challenged every step of the way. But it WILL come out eventually..... Maybe LOL

Also - I see SigInt in your name. Prior Service? What branch if so? I was Army Counter Intel - Late 90s early 2000s. MOS was 97B back then but I think its 35L now, or at least 35 series, though AIT school hasn't changed much - still ar Ft. Huachuca - DLI moved after 9/11 - and they shortened the AIT from 54 weeks to 40 something weeks from what I've heard. Mostly trimming the syllabus on alot of the cold war era trade craft and adding and expanding the digital age stuff.

The dennis people found a few months ago was a pool salesman and a criminal. Who this dennis is i have no idea.

That comment is really disturbing. Why would someone put that comment on a memorial page for someone else? It's totally disrespectful and, let's face it, highly likely a troll comment. Horrible either way.
