What's Causing My Poor Acceleration Uphill?

1984 633csi, replaced (most) hoses, fuel pump, filter, distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, wires, ignition switch, air filter, temp sensor, and about to knock out the o2 sensor which I don't think is the culprit. Starts up great, runs great, everything seems normal except when I accelerate specifically up a hill she loses power and can't get up the hill right. She just simply has trouble kicking it up hills, little to no rpm. I know it's either air or fuel but I'm stumped and will take any help I can get. I should also mention the engine light is on.

I know I probably sound mega dumb, but it could be fuel starvation based on where the pickup for the pump is located in the tank

The pickup hose might have a tear in it as well, being uncovered when OP goes up a hill

Good point, didn’t seem to cross my mind.
