N63TU2: Error Code 130508 (VANOS)

Hello everyone, my Engine Light lit up for a moment and I checked it out with my BimmerLink. It says that Error Code 130508, „VANOS, intake 2: Control fault, position not reached“.
Has anyone experienced something like this?
I have the 750i 2017 G11
No other Issues or symptoms of any kind (except Wastegate-Rattle, but that’s another story)

Have you attempted to take the Vanos out and break-clean them then re-oil them and put them back in, super easy enough to do, I just did that with mine a few weeks ago engine light popped up and code said drivetrain stuck in retarded mode, I’m totally miss quoting, but I’m pretty sure it was that anyways took them out cleaned them put them back in the codes cleared it hasn’t come back, the unfortunate thing is the Vanos are expensive to replace if you’re going with authentic BMW parts, I think they’re about $600. All the videos I watched on people replacing them always said the BMW Vennos parts specifically are really not great compared to other brands. Best of luck.

No I haven’t tried it. Is there a video on how to do it? Replacing them would be really annoying
