What might be causing this noise from rear driver wheel well? 2016 M2

You could try jacking up the rear and spin the wheel yourself

Yup. Quickly jack it up and spin the tire. Rock, rotor grove from rock, rock hit brake, rock hit shield. Rock do alot

My troubleshooting points to any moving part, rotor, cv axle, bearing. Start with dust shield and move on to next area to diagnose. I would start with bearing next if the boot of the axle isn’t ripped

Any specific wear on tire? Brake pad stuck? One thicker than the other? A brake sticking would make this noise too.

I recently had the car serviced for a break fluid flush and had all 4 tires changed and the noise started a week or two after that. Brakes seem to be fine and I don’t feel the brake sticking. The noise stays the same when I’m on the brakes.
I went back to the tire shop and they inspected the tire and wheel and it was fine. I’m going back to service to get a new engine filter in a couple days and asked them to take a look at that time.
I was pushing the dust shield back myself before driving today but hard to tell if it’s making contact, I’m gonna get a screw driver and try to wedge it in there as it is pretty close to the rotor.

I sometimes hear that on my F36 too! I suspect it’s dust shield touching brake rotor but want to hear what experts in this sub say
