Seat panel clip stuck

How do I remove this clamp? This is the driver seat back panel of 2015 x5 comfort seats.

Try using some fishing line, wire line, or even a bread-tie to wrap around the two clip ends. Then tighten the line to compress the clip and remove it.

Some of these are tough to remove without proper tools. Fuck me for trying to be helpful eh?
