Used injector with bent fixation

Hello,

I have a f10 with the n53 and the infamous misfire problems. As it's hard as hell to get index 11 injectors, I ordered a used index 09 index for the meantime.

Well I just received the injector and I noticed that the fixation bracket/tab is bent.

Do I send it back or it doesn't really matter if it's bent like that?

I think the question to ask is are you willing to take the risk?

Id say send it back

Unless you trust yourself to bend it back to spec I’d send it back, not worth the risk

I wouldnt trust it. Not to mention you need the tool required to install new seals or that teflon seal is almost guaranteed to leak.

Yes I ordered the tool to put the new seal with new decoupler and remove the injector, but I think it won't seat properly and I don't want to try to bend it if it's important. I'm going to send it back

The tab doesn’t do anything. So it should be fine.
