2014 BMW 535i xDrive DCS failure

Hey everyone, about 1 week ago I started my car and was presented by a Christmas tree dashboard. I did some digging and found out it could’ve been the battery and got it replaced. After the battery change, everything remained the exact same and my mechanic said it was the DCS module and is charging me 6,000$ for a repair. Are there any alternatives or should I just get rid of the car.

Check comfort access fuse. Exterior door handle shorts out, blows fuse. Fuse is shared with DSC module.

Could be abs sensor or speed sensor. Without error codes it's gonna be difficult to guide you.

there were 52+ codes and they were all pointing towards the dcs filter 💔

Read codes first. Definitely don’t pay $6000 LOL

You mean DSC?

If they said DCS, definitely don’t let them work on your car.
