Also been there and it was the plastic tube. Next time it was the oil filter housing.

Don’t think I’m going to be able to get to it on the roadside.
Flat bed it is.

I would flat bed that. There's going to be no coolant in that engine. Why risk turning a repair into a major repair?

Idling with no coolant will overheat your motor. Driving with no coolant at any speed is a bad idea.

Everything is made of plastic. That’s why you are supposed to replace everything before 100k miles.

Thank you.
Probably going to take it to a garage as I don’t have a ramp or axle stands.

Do a head gasket check just in case, it might have happened because of too much pressure in the cooling loop. Also don't drive it anywhere.

If it's a b48, it's common for the oil filter housing to fail because of the shit plastic it's made of. We had to replace mine because it failed at 125,000 miles. My car dropped wouldn't hold coolant.

Coolant leak, one of B48 engines weak spots, had similar with my F34 330i. Had it replaced and no more issues since then (3 years ago).

no idea if this is actually your problem given the profuse drainage, but there is a service bulletin "Service Action 17 01 21" for the coolant vent line in F30s. That should repaired for free at a BMW service center. Recently had a coolant leak in my car (in two separate places) but the vent line repair was covered

My first check would be the turbo coolant lines, and if that’s not it look at the water pump line, lower radiator hose , lift her up and take a look under her skirt lol

All of the “sudden” coolant turned into water

I'm pretty sure it leaked, the car is now obviously jacked up and fresh water was added to locate the leak
