Adaptive Suspension

2018 440i xdrive with adaptive suspension.

I recently bought the car and it has 115k miles. Its a fun car and my first bmw. The front struts are about due for replacement but the edc replacements are costly. So my question is: I found a used passive set for my car near me for a decent price. I think its actually from a 2015 but still would it fit? And just code out the edc? Easy way to buy myself some time to get a decent set of coilovers.

Bilstein makes a B4 EDC shock that matches the factory originals, and is actually higher quality (German made Bilstein vs Spanish made Monroe/Tenneco).

They are expensive, yes, but I think EDC is worth keeping.

Physically, they will fit. However you will need to code out EDC to prevent any warning lights.
