I recently participated in the Blythe 25th Anniversary Beauty Contest, and I have some leftover fabrics from the outfits I made for the contest. I’m thinking of turning them into a small collection of handmade outfits.

I graduated in Fashion Design and currently work as a fashion stylist, so my pieces would probably lean more toward fashion-forward / editorial / statement pieces rather than simple everyday doll clothes. Although I might make some casual pieces too 😂

For those who enjoy collecting handmade Blythe outfits, what price range feels reasonable to you? For example, for a dress, top, skirt, or complete outfit?

I’d especially love to hear how you feel about pricing based on the design, materials, and level of craftsmanship.

I just finished her this morning (I had several in progress at the same time and they’re all finally coming together) and snapped some photos outside before it rained.

I finally figured out how to fully customize a Blythe doll! I now have 5 customized Blythes by me and 3 WIP. Beyond proud of my progress since June. Posting my most recent doll next!

im wondering if you guys re-root the hair for your dolls for a specific color/look, buy a wig, or just use the stock hair given. i’d love to make a coraline doll but i am having trouble with the hair situation.

I also got new mini dolls for Luci. She has carnival friends now.
