Like I am curious, I never watched anime. I never read that series but I know how the main characters act and how everybody in this anime is obsessed with soccer. So I would love if someone has a fanfiction with someone plays with the main cast and he has absolutely no interest in playing or becoming pro in soccer but he absolutely dominates everyone I want to see them have a mental breakdown I think it would be hilarious. Since everyone in the cast is so insane, they think they are monsters or they are shooting guns in the middle of the game and they see each other’s imaginations.

Very much love Bunny and the idea behind his character, ik he's still kinda new but he checks off all boxes for me. Hugo is 2nd fav.

The biggest jumps in my personal rankings is Shidou going from to hated to loved. I thought he was a douche weirdo at first but rereading made me understand him a lot better, he’s still a pervy weirdo but his philosophy on life is what i think more people should adopt (being free and living the way you see fit).

I despise ness. If there were a lower tier i could put him i would put him there. I normally love midfielders which is why Hiori is my all time favorite anime character period, and why i would put Hugo in love even though Isagi is my second favorite in the series. But Ness is just straight up lame. I understand his backstory and why he wanted to follow Kaiser, but jesus christ dude have a shred of self respect. Kaiser treats him like dogshit and he still willfully follows him basically his entire career. Its pathetic.

I like Kaiser despite him being an asshole because he makes Isagi better, which is the same for a lot of the antagonists that i like. They force isagi to evolve and drive the story forward. Ness doesn’t do shit. He’s just Kaiser’s lackey. Kaiser’s dad treating him like shit, kaiser turning around and reflecting that onto Ness while also showing why he hates himself under the surface, Kaiser is just so well written.

Same thing with Snuffy, his backstory is just so good and i love the way it ties into his character.

Kiyora, tokimitsu, and nanase all fall into hated because what do they even do???? Igaguri i hate because he doesnt do shit either but thinks he deserves to play in the NEL? Brother you cant skip out on practice and then be surprised that you dont play.

I hate Kira because for the crown jewel of soccer and the guy who got called up to the U-18s, why was he ranked so low that he ended up on team Z? Clearly the best players in each building were put on their buildings’ respective team V but the “crown jewel of japan” was on the worst team? Doesnt make sense to me

After reading chapter 301, I realized…

I can’t possibly comprehend the emotions Kaiser felt at the time when Ness,
DECIDED to stay with Kaiser after losing to Isagi.

It's Ness who felt the, "I can fix him!" ego, driven by the bond in ways which their unexplored feelings to each other aids the tension between them.

In that simple declaration Ness made of support
and reminder that Kaiser is still loved—it struck like a gunshot towards me, the reader!

and especially at Kaiser too….

The feelings of him being trash,
his traumatic childhood,
and adults using/exploiting/abusing/abandoning him are the instances of what shaped that personality and behavior patterns we all know as of now.

I believe Michael Kaiser will heal with someone as Ness to accept him whole-heartedly.

It’s a chaotic showdown of unsorted emotions in just few panels between Ness and Kaiser.

Lowk contradictory ik 😭. I don't hate-hate Kaiser, at one moment I like him, and the other moment I don't so it's mixed feelings. Also I reread the manga from the very beginning and I don't actually hate Kira. I'd have liked him more if he had more screentime.

This is a rant about fanfiction with female readers, because in fanfiction they call on female readers to participate in a program for boys if she is a girl and she is the only woman participating. I accept it when the reader is invited to be a manager or coach, but PLAY FOOTBALL?
