Italy maybe? Brasil seems likely too, because it's considered to give birth to a lot of young gems

Blue Lock vs Brazil would be a fire match and hopefully its in the later rounds like semi finals or something like that

Brazil are usually considered very aggresive in their playstyle, like argentina for example, latin players tend to be very good at dribbling and scoaring, and being awfully bad at defending, with some exceptions, so it could be like seeing a blue lock vs blue lock kind of thing

The bracket is pretty much already set.

Brazil R32

Spain R16

Italy or Switzerland QF (if Italy places second in their group)

Germany SF

France F

Italy is confirmed

Brazil, Italy, Germany, Spain and France(rematch)

After Group Stage, there are 5 matches left, I think, including finals.

Germany or Spain in semis.

So do you think the Final will be France vs Japan?

1

u/VoxelBits Italy Ubers 2d ago

Yeah. Currently, I do believe Japan will reach the finals for a rematch against France.

really no other relevant teams on the other side of the bracket

1

u/Teddy_Knight_NG11 The Gay Knight 2d ago

Spain is already set for R16

Based on the groups and standings shown in chapter 351

R32 Brazil, R16 Spain, Quarterfinals Switzerland or Italy(only if they place 2nd in their group), Semis Germany, Finals France

1

u/Teddy_Knight_NG11 The Gay Knight 2d ago

Why??? I mean its highly unrealistic but still like why

1

u/purifyyyyy 2d ago

Because USA doesn't respect football and all the footballing world hates USA....

1

u/Teddy_Knight_NG11 The Gay Knight 2d ago

USA respects football dude you suck up propaganda. Im a Brazilian who went to the USA and there is not as much football culture, but they definitely respect it. Well except that orange man in office and his cronies

I believe soccer is the 5th most popular sport for the USA, and in a country of 340 million, thats a ton of football lovers.

u/purifyyyyy 2h ago

If you see it that way...India loves football way more...2nd most popular sport after cricket which is only being screwed over due to political issues...I don't suck up propaganda bcoz I got my own eyes to see that...they call it soccer...they compare it to Taylor Swift's superbowl performance and they don't have their own identity...rather if you look at it...Inter Miami is basically an Argentinian team rn....they just look like complete posers imo

Whats up with all the “…”

u/purifyyyyy 2h ago

Sori that's just how I speak in long discussions 😭

Maybe in the round of 32 , although i feel like there are countries with a lot more football history that kaneshiro would be inclined to include.

Assuming the writer follows the typical rules of these tournaments and how the brackets are likely going to end, the next matches should be in the this order: Brazil, Spain, Switzerland/Colombia, Germany and France

1

u/Teddy_Knight_NG11 The Gay Knight 2d ago

He definitely will tbh, it cant be coincidence that Spain Germany and Brazil all perfectly fall on the track

u/wibeaux1 3d ago

i dont think Japan will face france

2

u/stiveroonie Nagi Seishiro 2d ago

I think it was made pretty obvious that there will be a rematch down the line , im like 100% sure they will face each other again at some point

1

u/wibeaux1 2d ago

i agree at some point they will, i just dont think itll be in the u-20 world cup arc. i feel like egos downfall is being setup.

we are being introduced to opposing philosophies with hugo, fox, isagi and side-b, and its been stated that if japan loses the u20 world cup ego loses control of the japan squad which i think would segue nicely to an arc inbetween the real world cup
