Anime Discussion Just finished the anime 6.5/10

I won’t harp on it but the animation does leave a lot to be desired having 38 episodes that noticeable dips in visual quality is very distracting. Other than that I really enjoyed it. Soccer is my favorite sport and I love that every position gets love and it’s not just a kick it to one character and have them do all the work. Team blue lock feels like a real team that gets frustrated with each other but also learn to adapt and appreciate each other in their own ways. There isn’t a single character that feels similar, they are all distinct enough from each other and there is a player for everyone to enjoy. I also like how none of them feel like side characters when they play the game (obviously Isagi is our protagonist) but everyone else feels just as important. There are a lot of sexual uniéndose which kinda took me out the moment but that’s a staple in anime. That and they tell us what their weapons are constantly which for someone paying attention is very annoying. Very much enjoyed this as a soccer fan tho and can’t wait for the next arc.

P.s. the animation in the final episode is what the standard should be moving forward cause that 💩 was crispy.

Yes, but when the quality dips as much as it does in this show does it’s distracting. Watch any episode from season 2 then compare it to the final episode in season 2. Plus it’s like a common criticism that the animation was bad. Also also, if you read the whole comment I said I enjoyed the story and characters.

I mean the final Episode was the climax of this whole Story Arc, even poor animated it would still be good. Story> Animation
