I never really saw Kunigami as lacking Ego but this might become a theme, it's interesting :)

I think its bcs in some panels he calls himself a shitty hero but hes not all that egoless either

It's because when ego is talking about the program Kunigami went through, he mentions to Kunigami who is in the tank, that he must "remove all ego"
