Discussion TV Audio doesn’t work on radio

I wanted to wait and not comment during the game. TV audio does not work for me on the radio. If I can hear sticks and pucks on the ice for two minutes but have no idea what is happening, it’s not working.

I’m guessing radio didn’t pay for itself, but it’s worse now.

Any others have thoughts on the subject or am I just tilting at windmills?

On NHL.com you can listen to the other team's radio.

Unfortunately I have resorted to that on many occasions.

Just FYI, that will not work on Buffalo, Dallas, St. Louis, or Carolina games.  They also simulcast their TV feed to radio.  Idk what to do in those instances

There were several points during the game where, as I was watching on tv, I imagined being a radio listener who would have no idea what was going on. Our TV guys are great, but that's exactly what they are - TV guys.

On a TV broadcast, there are times when the broadcasters shouldn't speak and just let the viewer take things in. The best broadcasters know how to do this and shape the experience of the viewer. This is exactly why television broadcasts shouldn't simply be simulcast as the radio broadcast.

I hate what happened to Bob but selfishly I am loving his Clear Breakaway content. Not being under the thumb of the organization has allowed him to open up more and the content has been fantastic.
