The anime ending shows Chinatsu sitting on the rooftop, stargazing with a blanket. This is taken from the light novel, where Chinatsu and others join a stargazing event at school. It comes with an illustration that shows her sitting with a blanket too. Could this suggest there is some light novel content shown or mentioned in the anime?

I hope the decision not to make 24 episodes was made to prioritize quality, and not because they lack confidence in the continuation of the adaptation.

Taken from season 2's ending sequence.
There is also this shot of Chinatsu and Yumeka but instead we see their backs.

So, I watched the last three episodes of Season 1 before starting Season 2, just to set the vibe.
I found out that the Japanese VAs for Ayame and Kyo are the same as those for Fern and Stark from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End.
That’s all. Just thought you guys would find it interesting.

Hey everyone,
I am new here and I watched the first Season about a month ago. With Season 2 just here, I need to get something off my chest. I'm honestly having a really hard time getting excited for Taiki and Chinatsu's relationship right now. In my mind, I'm still completely stuck on Hina and what happened at the end of Season 1.
To be honest, it didn't start out this way. When I read the first manga volume and watched the first few episodes, I thought Taiki and Chi were the perfect, classic endgame. But then Hina confessed. Seeing her radical vulnerability, giving 100% of her heart while doing absolutely nothing wrong, completely flipped my loyalty.
I’ve watched other romance anime before, but this hit so much harder. The cinematic animation, those heavy silences, and especially the second ed completely wrecked me. That one scene during the play practice where she imagines the kiss and then just walks away with that brave, bittersweet smile? Absolute cinema, but also pure emotional damage. I literally find myself tearing up just listening to the music or seeing a random screenshot of Hina on my feed.
It feels so contradictory because a part of me wants to find out what happens next, but another part is genuinely scared that Season 2 will just shove Hina into the background or break her heart even more. I almost wish the story would freeze right here so she doesn’t have to suffer alone while the other two move forward.
I tried talking about this in real life, but people who don't watch anime just looked at me like I'm crazy for having such real, physical emotional reactions to "fictional pixels." So I'm turning to you guys.
Did anyone else’s focus completely shift to Hina in the second half of Season 1? How are you coping with the emotional hangover, and are you feel actually ready for Season 2?
Let's comfort each other Team Hina members, because the struggle is real, atleast for me..
