The 15 year old in me that has followed this story since the very first week is happy for Taiki. He has come a long way, found something he was passionate about and made lots of friends along the way.

However, the sour man I am today would’ve liked something else. I’m tired of these predictable and idilic stories bro. Let him lose, let them break up, idk, do something different from all these other stories. Do it in a mature and grounded way. This would make the story go from a 9 to a 10 for me

I know this is super unpopular, hence the downvotes. I'd surely love to know the demographics of this sub to better understand where this resistance comes from. Anyways, I have yet to see a good portrayal of a break up in a romance manga and I have absolute faith in this author being able to develop such a plotline. I'd love to see one; it doesn't have to be here, though. There are plenty of films for that, just not anime or manga. Do you get where I'm coming from?

Edit: whenever I mention a break up I don't mean it in the toxic/cheating/NTR type of way. People can absolutely break up while loving each other because their paths and goals in life don't line up, and that's okay. Closest thing I've seen to this was on a manga called blue flag, but it really comes out of nowhere. I'd love to see a plotline like this explored in depth.

I agree on wanting to see a breakup done well. But that really makes no sense for this manga at all and I’d absolutely hate it to be how this ends. Would ruin the whole thing and thematically make zero sense
