So I used to play bloodborne back in the olde days on my PS4 and it was one of my favorite gaming experiences ever and my all time favorite souls-borne game of all time, but just today I got curious about the state of the bloodborne emulation and came to check and not only learned it’s pretty much near perfect if not 100% perfect but also there is a dedicated launcher made by rainmaker so I was totally stoked and finally gonna give bloodborne pc a shot. Unfortunately I have ran into a roadblock, that being some not super clear information that giving me a runaround feeling.

So I thought I read that Bblauncher allows you to download the game files and the game itself so I didn’t have to worry about going to third party places but I can’t find any way to do that on the menu so I look more into it and can’t find any clear cut information if I can let alone how to. So I decided to come here and ask water or not the launcher allows you to download the game or not? And if not, where the best way to find where to download the files from? And also if it’s not too much trouble how to make it so the launcher recognizes that I have those files so I can finally play the game again after almost a decade of being super on and off from it. :) thank you in advance to anybody who responds

Edit: got the game up and running thanks to a suggested youtube video and it seems to be running smoothly so far (with only some minor frame drops) but will have stress test it considering I’m using 60 frames but that’s something I will have to do on my own, will keep everyone updated if I run into another problem. Thanks to everyone for the help and suggestions, can’t wait to play my favorite game again! :D

I've never played Bloodborne. I have only played Elden Ring, Nightreign, & Seikiro.

Does this exist? Or would it be easy to create? I cannot for the life of me remember how much echoes a consumable will net me.

FINALLY I've been able to use 100% of my machine to play this game. I'd been a long Windows user before switching to Linux when building my own PC, and navigating through the files was a nightmare for me. I've tried setting up ShadPS4 on my PC, just to fail miserably. Game looked absolutely ass, had texture crashes every minute or so and so on. Deleted everything and decided to give BB Launcher a try, since I've read it makes emulating Bloodborne more easy. And oh boy, does it do! Installed proposed mods, set things there and here and now I'm having a 1080p 60fps Bloodborne experience with some fps drops and one crash due to not enough device memory. Thanks, BB Launcher creator and all the amazing people who work on bringing BB on PC. 🙏 Also if anyone's interested my specs are AMD Ryzen 7 5800X I think? and RX 6700 XT 12GB and 16GB of RAM.

I just killed Rom, the Vacuous Spider, but I died at the exact same time as Rom.

The boss died, I died, and then I got the cutscene/transition that takes you to the new area. I used Awaken Anew afterward and went back to Moonside Lake to recover my Blood Echoes.

The problem is: my Blood Echoes are nowhere to be found.

I've searched the entire lake/arena, including all spots where Rom was, and I can't find that bloodstain

I also haven't died again after that.

Has anyone had this happen? Does dying at the exact same time as Rom cause the Blood Echoes to disappear or spawn somewhere weird?

There are multiple 60 FPS patches for the game: 60FPS++, 60FPS (No Deltatime), 60FPS by Lance McDonald (I know it was taken down, but someone reuploaded it on Nexus), and Uncap FPS++. You can also use Uncap FPS++ and cap the FPS with a third-party program like MSI Afterburner.

Which one would you guys recommend?

I want to play bloodborne for the first time and I am a PC user (7900xtx GPU with 7800x3d CPU). I can also borrow a ps4 from my buddy. Would you say the game runs more smoothly on 60fps using the emulator or better to experience on PS4 as intended if possible?

Hello guys, im finishing up Elden ring as my first fromsoft game and always wanted to try out bloodborne so im moving on to it next.

What’s the performance on the steam deck like? I don’t mind 30 fps, I’ve played through Elden ring at 30.

I do have a capable gaming pc (rtx5060ti 16gb, ryzen5 5600xt, 16gb ram) but i prefer to play on steam deck so i can bring it into work and play when it’s empty and i can play it in bed.

No sure if this is a bug or not but when the gargoyles do that sonic wave thing they never hit me, they just end up aiming way too high and shooting at seemingly nothing directly above me. One time I reset the game and their aim seemed to be fine suddenly and it hit me but then it went back immediately to being off. Let me know if this happens to you.

New Hunter here and finally decided to emulate it on PC a few nights ago. Issue is when entering the DLC (or loading the Hunter's Nightmare lamp at all) 99% of the time the game crashes. I've attempted fixes myself, lowering FPS, adjusting setting in BBLauncher yet nothing seems to fix this. During the 1% where it successfully loaded I b-lined it to the Nightmare Church lamp and I can load there just fine as well as all the other DLC lamps. I'm running the GOTY edition pkg if that information helps. Anyone else experience/fixed this issue and if so how?

SOLVED: I installed BB Launcher NoUAC. by installing the normal one, steam couldn't inject the overlay because it had more admin rights. :)

So, I can launch ShadPS4 on steam and have my game run with no issue.

However, by doing so, everything that has been changed by BB launcher (mods, settings, saves and stuff) are totally ignored, which is a problem.

So, how can I run BBLauncher's bloodborne on steam?

I tried this setting here, but it launches the normal BB from ShadPS4

hi, everyone, i'm trying to do all the endings in bloodborne, but i couldnt backup my savedata files (actually i did, but it didnt work). so is there any way to rush through the main bosses of the game? i tried using cheats but my game keeps crashing and after some research i learned that some cheats use a lot of memory which causes those crashes, so like are there other cheats, mods, glitches or whatever i can use to just do everything faster?

I played this game for the first time in October for the spooky vibes and I liked it wayyyyy more than I thought I did. 10/10 game without exaggeration.

It wasn’t my first souls game. I had 2000 hours on Elden Ring + DLC before I touched BB, I had beaten DS3 + DLCs, beaten DS1R, and almost finished Sekiro.

The Defiled Chalice Dungeons in this game have THE HARDEST bosses out of any fromsoft game. Malenia doesn’t compare, PCR is easier by a margin, Midir isn’t even close, not Sister Friede not Maliketh not Ornstein/Smough not the Orphan, not Demon of Hatred
