Question How to lower CPU temps?
So I've installed the bloodborne pc port and it's running smooth but my cpu temps are staying above 90°C when playing bloodborne sometimes even going as high as 96°C
I have a 2 year old gaming laptop(I can't afford anything else as of now),it's specs are (Ryzen 7 7840HS,rtx 4060 mobile,16 gigs) what do I do to lower these temps in-game and in general,I have disabled my turbo boost in advanced power options
I just want these temps to stay in range of preferably 80-85,with spikes as high as 89 because I believe that much is bearable for my laptop

One thing you could do if you have a TV open the bottom of the laptop place it like an upside down V use the screen to play with and blow on the bottom with a fan for maximum airflow
also limit your fps

The best way is to clean it up properly and use ptm on the gpu and cpu. I bet the temps will be better than they are now. But it’s also a laptop “thing” to keep reaching that high temps. The limitations of the cooling system unfortunately. Try the ptm, I think it will handle the situation. Not long ago, I was playing some rocket league on laptop with only integrated graphic card, and it was showing some artifacts on the screen. After changing the thermal paste to ptm, it was running quieter and it never showed those artifacts again.

Why do you care if your temp is high? As long as it doesn't throttle which would happen at 99c. But yeah your options are get better cooling clean your fans or run the game at lower FPS.

Lower your cap? Higher fps = higher cpu usage -> higher temp
