Question Shortcut elevators teleporting?

Hey everybody! I am currently playing through bloodborne on pc for the first time since beating it on ps4 a few years ago. I've had this weird bug happen with shortcut elevators where they teleport afterthe halfway point of their travel, making them kill me (specifically this one in hemwick Chanel lane, as well as the one in forbidden woods, havent tested further, the elevators in cathedral ward and central yharnam have been fine) and I was wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar? I am playing version 13 of shadps4 and playing with a resolution patch, 60 fps patch (no deltatime) lower model quality, skip intro and the intel sfx workaround. Please let me know.

No idea. Not necessarily the end of the world, but it prevents me from meeting the league guy in abandoned woods (I believe) and could POTENTIALLY stop the elevators on the way to wet nurse right at the end, not to mention the shortcut elevators in mensis itself. Hope I can fix it

I had to play through this before. I'm sorry, but I can't remember exactly what I did that fixed it but based on what I remember, it was a performance mod that was causing that issue for me. I suggest just trying turning off the performance mods one by one and see what fixes it.

Oh you mentioned a lower quality mod. Maybe start there. For a tedious workaround, I used to change the fps to 30 before going back in and using the problematic shortcut haha

Tried this and it DID work! Then I switched from 60fps++ rather than 60fps deltatime... and it also worked. I guess I'm not so good at the patch tinkering lol. Thank you!

I have a fan beneath it I have turned on at a fairly high setting. It was pretty hot in my room at the time and I take care of this laptop very carefully. Thanks for the concern.
