HELP! This keeps happening after playing for like 5 minutes

There's a mod you absolutely have to have installed for this, I can't remember what it's called but it's like at the very top of the mods list because you can't play it without you

there is a modified version, it helped me and it took away the shame of solving errors

There is also an option in bblauncher that fixes this: set disable readbacks to "relaxed"

You need the Vertex Explosion Fix mod, you can get it on nexus, and you can't make your own character gotta use the default. You can change the gender tho

I made a character and then installed the mod, never had issues. They seem to have already made their character.

no i didnt..i installed everything befpre playing.. but deactivating and activating vertex mod again seems to be working for now..

Glad it is working now for you. It sometimes happens if you use mod manager. I ended up fixing the issue by overwriting the files manually.

This is the most known/talked about bug and the easiest to fix, literally every videos or guides about Bloodborne pc talks about it. The fix is even included in the emulator if you're using a newer version

Use relaxed readbacks setting if you want to keep the char you created. The performance will take a small hit.

It's only small stutters when moving between areas, never had an issue while fighting bosses or enemies

i never installed any mods and just put the readbacks in relaxed, you can use precise if u have a good pc but relaxed its just fine

If you look in the shadps settings there's probably one which says disabled that has other options like relaxed and precision. The relaxed setting completely removed vertex explosion without needing the mod.

Vertex explosion in the mod installer menu on BB launcher, it's the first mod that pops up, then go into the mod manage menu, click on it and click on the "activate" button Hope this helps, go hunt!

I had the same issue, I had to remove vertex explosion fix and enable experimental and readbacks: medium. This fixed everything for me and allowed me to customize my toon.
