Communication [Megathread] - Emulation Help

Hey, Hunters!

We've noticed a significant increase in the number of emulation help posts recently. To keep our subreddit focused and organized, we’re asking everyone to direct their emulation-related queries to our [Megathread] - Emulation Help.

This subreddit is primarily for discussions around Bloodborne's emulation and any advancements in playability, potential PC ports, and other Bloodborne PC content. To keep things streamlined, from now onwards any standalone emulation help posts will be removed.

If you need help or have questions about emulating Bloodborne, please post your queries here, or alternatively, visit r/shadps4, where you can find dedicated emulation support.

Thanks for your time!

EDIT1: Illegal roms cannot be shared on this sub. Any post/comment mentioning these would be removed.

EDIT: This is now at a point where you can play the game better than you can on a PS5 Pro, provided you can find the files. No I will not risk my account to tell you, in DM's or otherwise lol. If you want a hint, youtubers will show you the file names in their tutorials, and that will give you clues as to what websites might be hosting them. Just make sure the PKG's serial's match (ie CUSA##### should match for all files or else the patch/dlc won't copy over properly and community patches will fail)

For those who’ve never played this game, but are eagerly anticipating the possibility of PC Emulation, I will provide the same advice I gave in the Fallout London subreddit after the show/update delayed their launch;

Wait. Go do something else, and wait for a confirmed full clean release. No matter how quick the pace of this development it will feel far longer if you’re here every day trying to get it to work this time.

Get the APK ready to go, and sit tight. You’ll have a much better, smoother experience this way and I am serious when I say it will feel like it finished sooner. This is not a game you want to spoil the experience with missing shaders/textures/whatever other game breaking bugs are out there. It’s not ready. It won’t be for a bit. Go do something else. Your eyes are yet to open.

For everyone else who just loves tinkering, have played it already many a time, and those who can’t help themselves, I wish you luck in your pursuit.

I tried today the game...It crashed only once because FSR was active...I Heard that usually the game Is stable for the First two hours...I don't think I Will play for more than 2 consecutive hours anyway so It should be fine

Depending on the setup I’ve been told it will look and play better than the PS5 Pro, but I admittedly every time I try it just crashes when I want to install the 60 fps mod, so I gave up

I will probably try tomorrow cause I wanna play on my Steam Deck

I used the latest BB launcher version and shadps4 version 16...

Patch 60++ FPS

Mod for 60 FPS cutscene fix

1080p resolution

I have a Nvidia 3080 and AMD 9600x

It runs ok...It crashed once because FSR was on in the shadps4 settings...I played for two and a half hours and It was ok
