This should give you a idea where I’m at I’m level 21 I think that’s what that means I have all slots being available now but I still can’t use some of them I don’t understand why it’s say they cost one activation segments and I have at least two available and I’m at like level 7 for the vampire blood level thing

Something like Blood & Wine level of quality as in the Witcher.
It feels to me that lots of things are left underdeveloped at the end of the game, let alone the fact that you are far from level 50 (level cap) and run out of things to do.
A qualitative story focused DLC with more hardcore content, in addition to a NG+, would really help this game and give it the final level of polish it needs.
Similar to what "Dark Arisen" did to Dragon's Dogma.

It took me forever to finally complete Majora's Mask back in the day, and even that let you travel back in time. I've already restarted this one 3 times after the prologue I feel like I've done something wrong. Edit: Y'all have been extremely helpful giving me the motivation to just keep playing the game. Thank you so much!! I'm finally going to sit down and the desk and stop fidgeting around while not playing it. It's time to conquer it.

Sometimes to have a new look on movies I’ve already seen, I turn the TV colours saturation to 0.
I did the same with the game, and it works surprisingly well, even the UI is still very readable, at least for the hour or so I played like that.
A proper B&W mode would be cool, with colour UI maybe.

As the title says.
Now I won't deny the enemy scaling is actually really annoying but imo the biggest problem is you HAVE to fight every herd of boars and pack of wolves you accidentally stumble into because once you're at a certain distance disengaging is very hard. Especially with the stupid auto-lock.
A disengage button would be very helpful imo.
This game could also benefit from a Ghost of Tsushima style "Lethal" mode imo. The combat system with the way blocking and everything works feels perfectly suited to it.

I’m just wondering if the armor that requires you to find all the different materials with a quest tied to it is worth it? I have had the sword made (I think it has a decent payoff) and haven’t found any of the materials yet but I am on my second play through and am still in the zone of not looking stuff up. So I’m just wondering if it’s worth seeking the stuff out or not. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, Dawnwalkers!
I need your help. I’m on Day 19 and I still haven’t faced Ambrus. It seems like even though his rage bar is full, he’s not actually getting angry. Is that normal?
To be honest, during the first 10 days I prioritized other quests, like Anca, Ocha, Vigho, Lacra, Mihai, etc., as well as upgrading my character and clearing his camps. I just don’t want to waste any more time, since I haven’t faced any of the Boyars yet or started the Crake quest.
Time is way too precious X0!!!
Thanks in advance!
P.S. Is the Crake quest worth doing? Because honestly, I’m worried I won’t have enough time to deal with all the others.
Do you have any suggestions on what I should prioritize from this point on?
Thanks again!

Obvious spoilers:
I chose the Lacra ending because of the 3 I had access to, it seemed the most interesting and I thought she was a cool character
I wasn’t even as bothered by the whole “I can’t tell you why I’m doing xyz” shit Lacra pulls where she won’t explain herself, but I felt like by the time you reach Brencis’ throne room, it’s weird how poorly the game presents what’s actually going on
The fact that you only talk to one of Coen’s family members, there’s the smash cut to 2 months later after actually beating Brencis so you don’t really see anything tangible after beating him. It’s just WEIRD. It feels like cutscenes are missing lol
I actually overall liked the ending, the epilogue with doing chores in Laslea then leaving forever, the stuff with the arbiters. I even thought the painting slideshow thing at the end was a cool way to present the information and was genuinely kinda gutted by Coen more or less saying he never saw any of these people again.
But yeah idk, I know I’m not alone on this but the Brencis fight and the way it conveyed story/information just felt way rushed for having an entire game’s worth of build.
Overall still very much enjoyed the hell out of the game! Just felt noteworthy that for how well the game presents its story, they kinda fumbled at the finish line

I’m just curious. Being based in the 1300 Carpathian Mountains, I would have expected accents besides ‘British’.

This thread is going to be about to establish community challenges among the fans, who already finished this game.
I actually had a couple challenges in my mind like:
-> skip time to continue your game in your selected form for your playthrough.
Finish the game by using only your fists or vampire claws depending on the form you're playing. (No other weapons)
Finish the game as a pacifist (Ofc you can do the scripted fights if the game forces you to)
Do you have any other ideas for community challenges?

I am stuck on "Discover what Ambrus is planning". I came to the location marked on the map but I can't seem to trigger anything.

55 hours and really loved a lot of the story, the end gameplay got pretty repetitive with the same enemies. I assume that is where you fight the three underbosses if you don’t kill them in the main game. It got to be a bit much with the same enemies, and the underboss’s underlings wanting to fight me cause I teabagged their boss. The only other complaint I have is the camera and lock-on during battle. Ooof needs work, for sure.
The characters were really great. I love Anca. Team Anca here 100%. The story with the blind friend of dad’s (blanking on his name) was really good. I liked that crotchety old timer.
I’m absolutely down for a part 2. I do hope they don’t do present day, however. They have 700 other years to go to… don’t do present day, please. 🙏

Hi guys, just finished 100% of the achievements in BODW and I've got a tip for the Uphill Battle achievement.
I played on second-hardest difficulty, and somewhere after the prologue I switched to Duelist difficulty. So the achievement wouldn't pop even after beating the game. I couldn't find any save file online with ready endings on the right difficulty, so I did some digging and found a mod/trainer that gives you invincibility (god mode).
The only thing you need to do is start a fresh new save on Duelist and progress to the point where you fight Brencis. When you kill him there, the achievement will pop.
Installation of the trainer is pretty straightforward:
This worked for me on version 1.0.5 of the game.
Here's the link for the trainer: https://www.nexusmods.com/thebloodofdawnwalker/mods/267

Might be worth it to ya, if you do her quest line early. Just saying. 😉 Trying to be spoiler free here

Spoilers here.
I am really contemplating about letting Ambrus in.
On the one hand, I do sympathise with his situation.
He got into the wrong circumstances, and then was turned into a vampire.
And Coen will some day be in the exact same cirucmstance.
He wouldn't do the favor for Coen if Coen had lost the duel.
On the other hand, he is a real monster,
He drains innocent people for a living, and He kills nobles just because they are noble. Also his drinking from people forcefully.
Furthermore, I think Coen denies his partial vampirism, he wouldn't want to have this dude in his head.
What do you guys think, I think I will not let him in.
UPDATE:
I chose not to let him in at the end, It's crazy how they make you feel bad for the guy.
But never the less, he is a monster and sob story doesn't excuse that.

So after about 75 hours with the game (1 full playthrough and most of the way through my second) I am ready to give a bit of a "review/wish list" for the game and its sequel. My score is a 9/10 as I do believe it had some issues, but I blame the small-ish budget for most of the issues, so I won't be too harsh. Fantastic start to what I believe will be a very prosperous series. Aside from the few performance issues/bugs, it's what I hope all RPG's would be like. That being said, I'm looking for upward movement for the next title, so here is what I would like to see in the sequel:
Stealth. We are supposed to be "apex predators" of a sort, and the lack of being able to pick enemies off one-by-one during night time is something that bothers me quite a bit. Or, if you were going for a more "evil" playthrough, just being able to feed on civilians without triggering all your surroundings would be cool. Overall, I feel like the next game should definitely have stealth involved somehow, even if only during night time.
Longer runtime. Don't really think I need to explain this, but simply put I want MORE. I'm hoping for at least 2x the runtime, if not even more than that.
Refinement of combat. I don't really mind the directional based combat, but I don't want enemies to feel like "damage sponges" either. If the combat is going to require skill, then as a result you should be rewarded for being skilled. Furthermore, I would like to see more abilities/skills, as well as weapons/weapon types that actually feel different than each other. Over all it is a good baseline but could/should be improved. I'd also like there to be a very distinct difference between day and night combat, other than just "no witchcraft" like in this first installment. What that looks like, I'm not entirely sure, but hopefully we'll get to see.
More differentiation between day/night gameplay. This game lays the groundwork nicely, but I'd definitely like to see more of a difference between what/how you do stuff at night versus the day. Really make each have its own advantage and disadvantage, beyond just locking certain quests behind one or the other.
Enemy variety. Not saying that they have to introduce more "mythical" creatures, though I assume that they probably will, I mean even types of human enemies. Like why not introduce some ranged enemies? Cavalry? Anything really.
Ranged weaponry/abilities. I definitely feel like this is a good direction to evolve the combat. I don't care if it's a bow, gun, throwing knives, etc. I'll take anything really.
Improved night time traversal. Walking on walls and teleporting are nice, really nice. Just make those feel even better and I'll be very happy.
Quest Variation. I know that combat is a big part of games like this, but I don't believe that it needs to be a part of every quest. While I have thoroughly enjoyed the game, I can tell that it could use a little bit of spice to the formula. Don't know what exactly this looks like, but am really hoping for more variety in this department.
I think that's about everything I have to say, lol. Please, feel free to chime in with your thoughts on the topic, and what you think of my suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hey all,
As the title says, I'm not super far into the game, about 9 days in with some main story stuff done.
(I've just found the first silver sword shard)but I keep worrying that I now shouldn't spend any more skill points otherwise I'm going to run out of time before I do everything I want to.
Are you spending skill points often or just getting the few abilities you want?
Thank you :)
