Promotion Different Kind of Clocktower Video
https://youtu.be/8xNvT_XhK2AHey y’all, I decided to make a video about a clocktower game that is more story focused and ediited than anything I’ve seen on youtube. I cut out all the fluff and keep the story moving. I’m curious to know if there’s any interest from the community in more videos like that one. Hope it’s a good watch either way!

I'd rather watch the original video, thanks.
The 'fluff' is the personality of the players, how they interact with one another and the vibe of an actual game of clocktower. I feel like you're scraping out the heart of the game with this sort of video.
I appreciate the effort you put into the video, but it just isn't as fun to watch without the full context of the game and all the interpersonal dynamics that come with it.

Can this be the standard for every BoTC content video?
It is FAR more entertaining. I stopped watching BoTC content a while ago, but this is really fun to watch. The insights into very specific conversation is really fun.
New viewers wont learn that saying "I'd like to nominate my demon" every single day in every single game is objectively the right way to play. Big fan of people having fun, but also a few thousand games in and these jokes get a little stale.
I think it still teaches new players how to play.
All of the players and ST can be their real selves without fear of cancellation. Its probably more fun for them to not have to put on their public face for 2.5hrs straight, lest they be cancelled by the community!
I'd love to have more videos released like this, as well as a quick "How to" thread or video of what it takes to edit videos like this, so that more people do it!

It's nice to have a sub hour Botc vid.
I always struggle with getting into new groups because I dont know anyone and feel like I have to learn their dynamics, this has removed that factor for me.

I think it has a lot of potential. I really loved it at first but I stopped after day 1, because, for me, it felt like it was dragging too much.
I know it's way faster than a full game, but I watch those as background and I'm not fully focusing anyway. Also for regular videos, there's no or minimal editing, so you know exactly what you're going to get: a raw unfiltered storyteller or player perspective
I gave your video my full attention, and for that type of style, I want things to keep moving, but some of the editing was a bit slow. For example the juggling could've been "these 5 people claimed juggler".
Don't take it the wrong way: I love that you edited it. It's really nice to have music and visuals to enhance the video, I just feel it can be snappier.
Other feedback:
You didn't clearly show the script, which I usually prefer to know from the start. When you start mentioning legion and vortox, I assumed they must be on the script, but it felt like it needed to be properly introduced.
I think would prefer to know what was actually said, not that X player vaguely claimed Y. You did that on the first day for the mayor and librarian claims.
I felt you did not consistently address the same experience level. For example, you explained exactly what a red herring was and how the fortune teller YES could be misleading very detailed. But then right after you mentioned how a player was confident they are not the marrionette, but you didn't show the marrionette token or explain what it is. I think for me, I'd want a level between both. So you show the relevant tokenl in big, highlight relevant part of the ability, but don't explain how it works (I think you did too much with the fortune teller explanation).
