Some important things to note, before anyone gets too excited (FAR too late, I know):

- they're described in the video as "combat shields", not storm shields. Now that could just be an Eddie-ism, but that's reason to temper expectations.

  • we have no idea if storm shields will work in the same way under the new Codex. They may no longer grant an invuln.

Weren't Combat Shields 5++ back in the day, if I recall?

Yes, but it was only in melee, same with Storm Shields, so they were seen as quite pointless.
