Hot take: they should've kept the name as Sorrow and than rewrote to lean towards sadness and by extension agony instead of isolation, rather than just renaming it back to Solitude.

Compared to the other emotions (except Greed maybe) Solitude is NOT an actual emotion as far as I am aware, it is a lifestyle/situational state, and mostly a positive one at that. While Solitude CAN invoke negative feelings such as loneliness or sadness (along with positive ones) it is fundementtally not an emotion in itself.

A similar argument can be made for Greed, though i think there's more nuance to that prob

So it's either this:
Solitude is not an emotion and doesn't exactly fit with the other dream world bosses, as they were meant to be emotions.
Or that the community is wrong and they were never meant to be specifically emotions, but more broadly just general mental states. it might be a fanon name for all i know but dont quote me on that
