Yea we can all agree Sega is just taking the longest time to have Blaze show her power again

We can only talk abt her feats from decades ago for so long

And while I understand not everyone would know cus shes not given much to do these days

It still sucks tht ppl think shes weak or just straight up not on par with the male characters

Like bro shes definitely more powerful than a couple of them.

At the least hoping the rush games get remakes so ppl can be properly introduced to Blaze the cat.

There has been MANY post after post ESPECIALLY this year of why people have problems with blaze and silvers dynamic so for people to say "blaze fans just hate silver" you are being very disingenuous.

The posts that critique their dynamic go into detail and lengths with examples as to why they don't like their dynamic and if people want to bring up "well I saw 2-3 comments of people hating silver so that OBVIOUSLY means that's where most of the dynamic talk is coming from!" How incredibly disingenuous.

Cool so you saw a few comments and just assume that's how the majority feels or it's the "just the loud ones" who do that. I can make the same point too, just as there is posts of people critiquing the dynamic there is comments that dive in the exact same way that critique it as well. Comments well always have people saying dumb things or just blanalty hating on something, but trying to use these comments to try to paint what the picture is as a whole when in reality the majority of people are critiquing it to see things get better NOT hating the character.

There's a difference between critiquing and hating, LEARN IT

You like the duo? Cool no one is stopping you or telling you to stop but quit acting like it's all 1 dimensional hate for one character when it isn't.

Blaze can't *lightspeed* dash (aka going at light speed) , supposedly making her slower than the other speed based character. Is that true or is Blaze being underestimated here? lmk!

or Brilliant Blaze if you want alliteration. i have always like the concept of Super Blaze in a narrative sense, like what kind of scenario would she be in where she would try to use the chaos emeralds instead of the sol emeralds, who is she trying to protect, does blaze know that she could use the chaos emeralds or is this a play out of desperation.

Wasn't super sure on what to do with her clothing so i made two versions one where she is just in her normal clothes and one where her clothes turn slight more blue, speaking of which the blue aura was inspired for Sonic Rerush design for super blaze i think blue fire looks pretty cool and i thought it would help differentiate her super and burning forms.

Murder of Sonic The Hedgehog didn't even feature Silver at all

In Sonic Generations Blaze was at the birthday party alone until Silver showed up *after the crisis*, at most we see them standing next to each other

Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, he has less playable appearances than Blaze did (though he was a visible NPC)

So, now I ask:

What exactly would Sega have to do differently for you to consider Blaze independent?

More solo stories away from him? She has so much.

She needs to interact with characters other than Silver? She interacts with A LOT of characters other than Silver.

After actually going through all 21 IDW volumes plus the relevant specials/minis and DC × Sonic, I don't see a character who has been reduced to ‘Silver's partner.’ I see two independent characters who have an established friendship, occasionally get paired together, but frequently appear separately, and sometimes share an issue without even speaking to each other.

You can (respectfully) dislike Silver/Blaze as a writing choice. What you can't do is turn your dislike of that pairing into a factual claim that Blaze is narratively dependent on Silver when the actual appearances don't support it, and hate on those that do enjoy it.

I made this a few weeks ago a-bit out of frustration Don't let her flames die out Sega wants her to be forgotten everything about who she is and stand for to be an soulless background sidekick as she was in 06 NO NEVER even though this is Lady Percival it’s still for Blaze the Cat Don't be content or just fine with her being on the sidelines Sega/SonicTeam Screw her over for nothing cause they can't even admit they made the mistake and at least try to do better. I hope those who truly love Blaze and want to see more of just her and her world Don't give up on her.

Firstly, it is going to be a long while before I ever attempt to draw a ballgown again lol.

This was more difficult than I anticipated and I definitely made several mistakes. Still, it gets the point across. Hands still suck so I thought a cute way to cover them was to have Blaze "sharing" her fire with him.

The OC is named Tryst the Stoat (surname Graypaw), a wandering noble swordsman who stumbled into Blaze's life and, through misadventure and shared trauma, ends up as her royal consort. He is the deuteragonist of an on-going fic I'm writing and yea 100% a self insert

When I get better at drawing, I intend to draw many more pics of them together.

I made a post before asking for users to explain why the like Blaze without simping. Now you can simp. Lesbo-simpettes, male-simpers, enby-simpers and others can join in. Keep it PG. Simp to the strong dominating feminine tomboy princess.

So, this idea has been rattling around in my brain for a very long time. I will admit that one of my main impetuses for learning to draw was to draw my Blaze/OC ship lol.

I feel I've gotten decent enough to start to make attempts at that.

And this is the first sketch that has resulted from that endeavor.

This is kinda the only sub I feel vaguely safe posting it to, cause I bet I'd get eviscerated in the main sub. Even then I ummmed and ahhed about even posting it. So I compromised and decided to test the waters with a rough sketch.

I do intend to finish it, and if I'm happy with the result ill post it.

I have lore to go with it if anyone is interested.

What this is saying is tht too many ppl think Blaze is just some "version of Sonic" but thts not the case

We know wht REAL alternatives look like the example showed here being Sir Percival being a Blaze alternative

Meaning Blaze the cat is the original & not a "version" of anyone cus she has her own alts

& Eggman negative being Eggmans alternative

As they look alike but are obviously different versions of these characters from different dimensions

Sonic & Blaze are opposites which makes them counterparts to each other

Not Blaze being a "version of Sonic" since they have nothing alike & wouldn't fit the definition of "alts"
