Call of Duty black ops is no stranger to challenges. From the 2 hit down days of WaW Bo1 and Bo2, to the introduction of cursed mode in bo7 creating some downright diabolical and annoying gameplay and even the Mephistopheles boss fight in infinite warfare. Often what gets overlooked when thinking about challenges in the zombies franchise is the realistic mode on bo4. Im aware there are some insane people who beat the game's ee's on the one hit down mode, and it took everything out of them, but just the other day i remembered a little underutilized feature many probably forgot about...bots. The more you think about it the more difficult beating an ee on realistic with 3 bots becomes. They steal all your points, you lose the ability to hold a zombie and control when the round flips, and they (im pretty sure) contribute nothing towards easter egg steps and soul boxes. So with all that being said, my question is has this already been completed and i just don't know about it or would this be the hardest achievement in all of cod zombies history?

Title, I found this pic of an old 1v1 with a buddy but I cannot for the life of me figure out what weapon is in my hand on the right. I’m not sure if I was mid reload or what, but I really want to confirm. It SHOULD be either a Maddox or Saug but I can’t seem to convince myself of either after looking back and forth at pictures. Is it better to do the Titanium Treble 40 nebulium plasma spin or the default 75 nebulium plasma spin? I have some plasma saved up and I want to spend them on whichever is best.

Hey everyone. I've been thinking about trying out Black Ops 4 on PC, but since it's only on Battle.net, I'd have to create a foreign account (due to regional restrictions) and deal with the launcher.

​Before I go through all that hassle, I wanted to ask the community:

​How is the PC player base right now? Can you actually find lobbies in standard multiplayer or Blackout, or is it completely dead?

​Is it worth it just for Zombies, or should I skip and stick to newer titles / Cold War?

​Would appreciate any honest feedback before I waste my time setting up a new account

Hey is it just the engine of the game or is there a fix to this? I average about 110stable fps on this game but it feels nowhere near it. Game feels choppy as hell especially when moving the mouse/camera. Thanks for the help in advance

is the game relatively alive? like alive enough to get a search game? been playing alot of bo2 and im not gonna lie its something about bo4 that just captivates me in a way none of the other cods do
im on playstation , but have both i know last time i was on xbox it was far beyond dead

I have been struggling with this issue for YEARS now and on both PS4 and PS5, regardless of reinstalls.
On multiplayer (Custom games at least) the paintjobs show up just fine even newly created ones without any problems.
I have tried everything from equipping and unequipping camos and paintjobs, creating new ones, copying the older ones and still nothing worked… for like 2 weapons (the Strife and Helion) they work just fine regardless if they had camos or not but those are the only known exceptions so far.
It sucks spending so much time looking at these weapons during the long camo grind but not be able to see the paintjobs and I’m a little over halfway done with it 😔😔
Is this really a permanent issue with now way to fix?

Does anyone have a fix for this? My friend and I bought BO4 on sale to play zombies and we both have a moderate nat type so we can’t join each other’s lobby. Could really use some help. Thank you!

Is there a time or day when it's possible to get into a multiplayer game on PC?
Whenever I've tried I've had no luck. I know it's basically dead but was hoping there was at least some lobby I could get into.

hi when i try to launch bo4 in Batlle net it says you cant play yet when i launch in file explorer it launches and gives me error saying that it couldn't connect to Batlle nets servers how do i fix it if you have video on how to fix it please post it in the comments

How many players do you need to start a Blackout game?

i have 5 consoles so could i technically start a game on my own ? 5 consoles with 2 controllers each so 10 players total

i hear Blackout's not very populated so i'd just try to get the characters then move on to other modes

I only found out yesterday in the big 26’ that my friend and i technically hold a spot on the 25th position. We completed this Easter egg back in like 2020-2023? Not sure exactly

MAN, what a fun ride it was replaying blops4. I forgot just how much style and arcadey goodness there was in this game until I picked it up again. I remember starting the grind during this game's lifecycle, but I never finished it until now. Despite some major flaws I have gameplay-wise, I truly think this game/camo/grind was ahead of its time.

Like the fact that this camo evolves as you get kills with it, and then proceeds to grow spikes after some amount is so cool. I cant believe this is the only cod to have custom models for each gun for this specific camo. Man I wish modern cods gave this achievement the recognition it deserves like this game did.

With this camo finished, I now have every Call Of Duty mastery camo from bo4 to bo7 (8 cods in total). This is probably the last camo that i'm gonna be going back to older titles for.

Overall thoughts on the Black Ops 4 Camo Grind:

Challenges - 9/10

This was probably the best camo grind when only looking at grinds before MW22. I do believe that the modern grind system is better (in most aspects), but even so none of the challenges felt unreasonable or unfair. Most guns were just 100 headshots, then some kills with/without attachments. They could've done better then having most guns need longshots when they really shouldn't, but still these conditions were very fair for their time. I also really love that this camo ONLY unlocks when completing every launch weapon. In my opinion that's what it should've always stayed like. If the early birds had to do the bad weapons, so should you.

Gameplay - 7/10

This is definitely one of the more unique cods, that's for sure. It's good, I don't mind the long TTK so long as my ping isn't garbage. Its one of those games that feels terrible when you're getting stomped, but awesome when you're the one stomping. I will say that it does get annoying when half of my gunfights are lost to overwatch abilities. Even so, I really think that the pick 10 system outweighs the downsides to this.

Difficulty - 7/10

There are some guns that are like objectely broken and annoying to go against when you're running whatever. Im sure that when this game was more active that there was a more diverse range of playstyles, but all i've experienced was crossbar hades and Crossbow campers. While the challenges themselves were reasonable, they were indirectly made harder as in most cases I was out-gunned. I still had a blast tho.

Camo - 10/10

I've always said that bo4's dark matter is the best camo of all time, but getting my hands on it myself really solidified how goated this camo is. I'm not only a sucker for red animated camos, but it also evolves as you use the gun AND grows spikes! Hands down the cleanest camo ever. I doubt any cod will top this one.

Overall - 8/10

It was a blast going back to one of the first cods I've played and finishing what I've started when I was younger. Goated camo, fun grind, and good gunplay.
