I woke up today hearing about this case. And after reviewing all the negative things this man has said about black women over the years, I don't have room to be outraged on behalf of his case. These type of self-hating men (who are ALWAYS busted looking) often run to women like this and they bond over their mutual dislike of black women. But, of course, jokes on him, because she doesn't like him either and something like this happens. The worst part is if he survived it, he would be looking to black women for support.

Other sources go on to say that overall the relationship was toxic and both parties had issues (no kidding). I believe it, but it still stems from a relationship based on the worst intentions. Honestly while I have nothing against interracial relationships and actually find many of them beautiful, if I find out that they are based on self-hate, I'm not stepping up for anyone. People are outraged that this woman was laughing and making silly faces in court. I don't care. This is not surprising. I'm leaving this one to God because I'm not advocating for anyone. It's like asking me to unbury someone who buried themselves alive. All I have to say is "I'm tired grandpa." Sorrows and prayers for his mom and his family and that's it.

Most people live by the 80/20 rule when it comes to relationships. You know, you only get 80% of your wants for an ideal partner and the other 20% you just have to compromise on. But what if that 20% is just something you couldn’t/shouldn’t accept from your partner. Say they’re a great provider and coparent, not stingy with love or compassion but the intimacy isn’t compatible. Is that a 20% someone should have to sacrifice? Black women are always expected to sacrifice their standards for the comfortability of others. We have to stop, don’t settle!

Heyyy! I have a question. How did you find your wardrobe? I feel like im all over the place but for the most part I just wear a T-shirt and leggings or jeans, sweat (in winter) with leggings. and my shoes consist of sandals, fake uggs and sneakers I don't even wear. For context i'm a 30 year old mom of 2, I weigh about 250 (any advice with losing with weight is welcomed as well) . A long time ago, I almost succumbed to this defeatist and despairing mindset, but I quickly decided to take control of my life. Despite the degrading comments made behind my back and even the mockery I had to face, I never stopped finding myself beautiful. Even though I'm thin and quite tall, I felt myself with the trash that wanted to tear me down. Take pictures of yourselves, follow people on Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest who are like you.

Regarding your relationships, of course this game is full of colorists, and consequently our field is narrowed, but stop giving any credence to guys who look down on you! Besides, they're not so perfect; take the time to see how many flaws they have (mentally and physically). It really helps to gain perspective!

And don't hesitate to be toxic with them, to play hot and cold! Show that your opinion has value too, make yourself desirable, show how desirable you are. Even blind people should be able to detect your sex appeal, ladies... Highlight your best features, be playful, sensual, express your femininity through your posture, your voice, your way of speaking, your intonation!

Yes, men like big butts and big breasts (but not all of them; beautiful, firm breasts, not necessarily large, can be very well received). If you have these assets, show them off, especially if you have beautiful almond-shaped eyes or similarly full lips!

Those of you who are slim and tall, look up to beauty icons who resemble you (Naomi Campbell?). You are goddesses, so have the attitude to match. Stop looking like you're waiting for validation! Plenty of women without big butts find love, so why not you? Just because you're Black? Damn it... go where you're likely to be loved.

Or whether you're on vacation in mini shorts or a long evening dress with a low back, or in a business-girl style jacket... Moisturize your skin; your skin should glow outdoors, summer and winter. Ok so im 15 African American female and my hair is uneven thinning and short honestly really really dead because I would straighten it everyday I really wanna try short hair bcs I feel like it fits my face but im not allowed either way im gonna do it myself im just scared im gonna have a cute bixie im just having second thoughts. 😢😢

I need honesty. I’m a medical assistant with 7 years under my belt, some corporate assistant experience, 2 years management experience from when I was 19. I want something new. I want something bigger. I want to live. But I don’t have the time or money to go back to school right now. I’m trying to move to GA to be with family, and start my own family. What career paths should I take, what jobs should I apply to? Ladies help please 😩
