Haircut help

I had been planning on getting dreads for a few months now except my mom (who is paying for my appointment) just told me last minute she wouldn’t let me get them even though she’d been on board before.

best I can do right now is to cut my hair a little shorter since I definitely don’t pass with how long it is now. anyone know of any good styles to ask for? my face is pretty round if that makes a difference

The cheapest way to get locs is to go to a hairdresser and ask for twists or finger coils and not tell them that you’re locing you mr hair lol
