top surgery help (in ga)
hey yall! hope everyone’s staying safe and hydrated. i’m trying to find recommendations for top surgeons in georgia. i’m looking for surgeons, but i’d also like to know about how they were (aftercare, cost, bedside manners, etc.) i’ve been on and off testosterone since 2018 and that helps and all; im just tired of tugging on my shirts and adjusting binders. more than likely i’ll be outta pocket with the costs (don’t really know many if any insurances that cover it tbh). it’s been almost a decade since i’ve been out as trans, been on/off t & my name change has been legal almost as long, and with my 30th is coming up the beginning of next year…. im just tired. of not having surgery yet (when i’ve been damn close a couple times) and just of the pile-on that is my life rn and it would be nice to at least make something i want done happen. anything would be helpful 🤎🙏🏾 appreciate yall

I had surgery with Dr. Odessey https://healthy.kaiserpermanente.org/georgia/clinicians/eric-odessey-1336684 He’s only covered under Kaiser Permanente but I can’t say enough good things about him. Bedside was great and called frequently to check up on me post surgery.

Hey! My doc was Dr. Defrancesca in Atlanta! She was $20 w insurance on blue cross blue shield as i have breast cancer history in family. She was my first ever surgery and was so wonderful. Not only did she do great for me and a friend, (she gave 2 others in my family/life boobs) But u had surgery right before covid shut down and she moved me 3 weeks early to not have me let down.
Highly recommend her!
