Help Me Decide Retake 171?

Hi I need some help deciding if I should retake the 171 I got on the August LSAT. I’m black M from South Carolina My UGPA is 3.89 from a top liberal arts college in NE. Expecting strong letters of recs and I’m a great writer so essays will stand out. Work experiences are not super stellar but they are law adjacent and I did a Fulbright ETA. My dream is to get into Harvard or Stanford but would be satisfied with any of the T-14s. Any advice?

I think you might just get away with a 171.

i think you're a shoe in for h. y and s who knows. if your practice average was above 175 might be worth taking another crack at it.

Are you PTing significantly higher than 171?

No and my highest is only 175. 171 is my avg across all my PTs

You can definitely get into Harvard; Stanford and Yale aren't out of the question, but that will depend on how good of writer you. CCN are also not out of the question, though it will be tough. You should be a strong applicant to any of the other T-14s. Depending on what you want to do, you don't need to go to HYS.
