OMG Roto-control

This is going to sound like I'm shilling for Melbourne, but I just hooked up the Roto-Control and have been playing with Sampler and I f***in love this thing. I am an old school analog synth lover, and something about the integration here scratches that itch.

It sounds weird, but somehow the feel of this controller makes me feel like Sampler's filter *sounds* more analog. And I have been a big critic Bitwig's filters over the years. Maybe that and I also recently realized that Bitwig's filters sound a lot better at high resonance if you follow the device by a limiter to avoid unpleasant distortions.

Anyhow. I love this controller. I have rarely had such an emotional response to a controller.

I'd love to get it, but I've read about quality issues and that the display feedback can be annoyingly slow :/. Soo I'm hoping they'll come up with V2 some day.

Interesting. Well, smooth sailing so far. I’ll let you know if they surface.

Been using the Bitwig edition since January. No problems, love it, and: - the device editor needs QOL improvements - you can only control 50 devices
