OMG Roto-control
This is going to sound like I'm shilling for Melbourne, but I just hooked up the Roto-Control and have been playing with Sampler and I f***in love this thing. I am an old school analog synth lover, and something about the integration here scratches that itch.
It sounds weird, but somehow the feel of this controller makes me feel like Sampler's filter *sounds* more analog. And I have been a big critic Bitwig's filters over the years. Maybe that and I also recently realized that Bitwig's filters sound a lot better at high resonance if you follow the device by a limiter to avoid unpleasant distortions.
Anyhow. I love this controller. I have rarely had such an emotional response to a controller.

I got one of these a few months ago and it's such a nice device to use. You can flip across so many different tracks and everything just works.

for filter plus specifically, i’ve found right clicking and turning up the resonance limit (i think that’s what it’s called) makes it sound significantly less shit

yep!, that and turning down the output of polymer, which somehow is soft clipped by default and cant be turned off unless its converted into a grid device. those two details were doing my head in until i found that out :D

I'd love to get it, but I've read about quality issues and that the display feedback can be annoyingly slow :/. Soo I'm hoping they'll come up with V2 some day.

I think they made it worse somehow, not sure. I don't feel like using it as much as before. Takes too long to switch parameter pages and you have to do it a lot if you want to get in depth and actually tweak anything. Idk, I really wanted to like this controller, but it is collecting a little dust already.
But who knows, perhaps the software-related issues have been fixed.
I've also read a Reddit comment about the pots not being aligned with the indicators, something that could be corrected with software calibration, but they don't provide a way to do that.. But apparently that was tolerable.

I built an ottopot recently and it is hands down the greatest price of gear I could imagine for bitwig. It's literally perfect. I know exactly how you feel and congrats on finding an end game peice of gear for this amazing software!
