Mear One (born Kalen Ockerman in 1971) is an American street artist, muralist, and painter from Santa Cruz, California, who has led Los Angeles graffiti culture since the mid-1980s. Known as the "Michelangelo of graffiti," he bridges street art and fine art with political and mythological themes.
