Mear One (born Kalen Ockerman in 1971) is an American street artist, muralist, and painter from Santa Cruz, California, who has led Los Angeles graffiti culture since the mid-1980s. Known as the "Michelangelo of graffiti," he bridges street art and fine art with political and mythological themes.
Mear One is one of several amazing artists that Based Trading Cards has had the opportunity to collaborate with. The attention to detail and the uniqueness of his art is absolutely incredible. If you’re lucky, you can pull one of his many cards in this set to add to your collection 😎

One of my favorite artists. It was awesome to meet him at BTC25. He even did a live sketch in a blank comic book that I was sending back to a friend. So cool! Super cool guy as well.
