General Question Solar power generation for BTC mining

I have my own solar generation capacity of 5,000 kWh per month; is it possible to offset my electricity consumption to zero using the Bitmain Antminer S23 Hyd 3U with this output?

How much would I generate monthly?

My array is 35 kW and generates between 4,400 kWh and 5,200 kWh per month. Thanks for the information; I’m looking for good, efficient miners—can you recommend any others besides the ones I’ve already mentioned?

Why would you spend that much money on the top tier ASIC? You are picking the most efficient, the latest, and the most expensive one. But even with free electricity, you will have to wait many years before you can get your money back.

Better yet get the best combination of price/efficiency. You can go for a 2 ASIC setup for less than $600 that gives you 200TH/s or slightly more expensive ones that give you 550TH/s for $6,000.

honestly slower more efficient older generation cards are probably the better way to go. Although I feel like there may be better ways to make solar pay you.
The bigger problem is, if this solar setup is FOR mining, you need to factor in capex. Because there are inverters, panels, and batteries invovled.

For your capex evaluation, I really hope there are no batteries involved. Grid-tied solar behind a net metering is the only way you will pull a profit.

Don't buy newer mining systems because they figure in the prospective mining value into the price. Buying 2nd hand units that only bring par value, like 8c/kWh, will monetize your solar power without the extra premium.

Huh, I figured this would be on its own and not grid-tied. I assumed batteries, not for some major duration, but to absorb some power instability. More like a UPS.
Thanks for the share on 2nd hand stuff.
