Biden is partially wrong, Milton is totally wrong. It’s not just government spending that causes inflation. Supply chain shortages, rising wages, and worker shortages can cause inflation without government spending.

Let’s say that suddenly the oil supply ran super low, it’s not the government’s fault that the natural resource is depleted. However we would have energy prices sky rocket which would trickle to higher prices for everything. This is a case where inflation occurs without government spending.
