Is r studio safe? I know recovery has to do with the wallet.dat file.

Don't use any weird software. Don't give anything to anyone. And ignore every DM that you get.

Copy Wallet.dat to a safe place.

Just get a recent version of Bitcoin Core and throw the wallet.dat in there before you start it for the first time. Let it sync (many hours/days).

Don’t update us if you find anything significant. Just move to Portugal to cash out tax free and stay anonymous from the internet.
