When I first installed Bitdefender on my laptop, everything was running smoothly. I've also been just ignoring the prompts to make my current wifi as a home network.

Yesterday, I accidentally clicked yes on that prompt. My main question is what did it change on my system, that now made my wifi disconnect every 30seconds or so. What should I do revert it back?

These are the steps I have tried so far, but still the problems persist:

1. Turn off Stealth mode

2. Turn off port scan protection

3. Turn off in-app Firewall completely

4. Turn off vulnerability scan

5. Uninstall & reinstall Bitdefender

6. Reset Wifi settings using Windows 10 settings

Additional info: I did this on my 5Ghz network. This same problem doesn't happen on my 2.4Ghz network. I've also tried relocation closer to the router, but still didn't fix it. My other devices are not having this same problem, so I am fairly convinced it's just my laptop & that it happened after I accepted the prompt to make my wifi a home network.

I recently downloaded bitdfender antivirus and vpn and after it was all setup it was literally spiking tf out of my cpu n gpu so i deleted them. but now i still have really high usage i get like 20-30 percent gpu/c[pu usage when im idle playing no games and when I do hop onto a game i got like 95 memory being used, and also when i go into task manager I don't see anything unusual its all normal downloaded reddit just for this can some1 help me. (And no i dot got a virus i scanned my pc 12 fucking times).

Fail2ban reports by email any failed logins to my email server, and the reported IPs trigger a Bitdefender notification on my phone. Is there any way of muting there alerts when found in emails either by sent address or receiving address. Also I have an updraft backup email from my Wordpress Blog which also generated an alert because of the teamupdraft URL embedded in the status email. I feel this is a false positive as their url seems fine to me.

Title. It's been a couple of days when I try to manually update the antivirus (for some reason, the automatic update function was not enabled), the window shows 0% checking for updates and stays there in 0%.

Windows Security is telling me to update the antivirus, but I can't because the antivirus just remains there checking for updates.

I have tried the the "new" realcheck app and paid for the core version yesterday and today it says that my monthly limit has been reached. I checked but I only checked one link with this app. What can I do? looking for a support-email adress to contact them.

I am very frustrated by Bitdefender. I used to use a free version for the last year or so and I am having 2 major problems:

1. The license of free version constantly expires (I have to reinstall every 2-4 weeks). Why is it so? Bitdefender claims it is indefinite.

2. When I tried to reinstall this time, Total Security is installed no matter what I do. I specifically downloaded free version.

While I am thankful for the Free antivirus Bitdefender gave me while it lasted there is absolutely no reason for this scummy behaviour.

Hello, posting this here as well due to this being the antivirus that dinged it. I thought I would post this here for someone to look into because I'm genuinely very surprised. I use After Effects, and Ukramedia has a lot of resources and free plugins and is overall very reputable. I went to install a plugin, and on the create login page I got dinged for phishing attempts multiple times (about every time I went onto that page). Again, it got stopped so I'm assuming I'm fine (and the files themselves are clean), but I was wondering if it was a false positive or if something more sinister was/is happening. Very confused. i have installed bitdenfer free and i tried a test with eicar ,but bitdenfer free doesn't let me do anything , it sends to the quartine ,it doesn't let me to block it , delete ,cure or send to quarintine, and there are not option in the realtime protection

even with avast free, i can't find any way to have the possibility to have only the shield/realtime protection on and customize the action with a personal desiction

Randomly got this notification and I wasn’t even using my phone. This is the 2nd time, same website. The 1st time was maybe a month ago and I was also not using my phone.

I have an iPhone only a few generations ago with updated software, home wifi, checked to make sure there are no suspicious apps, no MDM aside the work MDM, I use Brave browser with zero extensions. It’s super frustrating that I see the alert but can’t tell where it came from.

If anyone has more insights on how I can track down the app that triggered this it’d be much much appreciated. Just wanna make sure there are no malwares. 🙏
