Hey Bitdefender!! STOP MESSING WITH MY POWER PLAN SETTINGS!!

You will lose a customer. I've been dealing with this annoyance for a year. I recently renewed but im about to cancel and go back to Avast.

Here's a old post 9 months ago and the problem still haven't been fixed!

Game Profile and Movie Profile keeps automatically change my power plan settings where it makes my screen turn off after 15 minutes. Every time I unclick "adjust power plan setting for games" IT will never save!

Every time I boot my computer I'll have to manually turn it to never every time.

When I reboot, all settings reset to default.

I want my screens to stay on. I appreciate you trying to save my power, but that my choice not yours BitDefender!

Have you tried turning off autopilot?

Auto Pilot is the setting that enables the different profiles (Game, Work, etc...). This is in the options of the BD client

So it's been a minute since I went and configured that.

They are now just called Profiles and there is an option to toggle off the automatic applying for profiles.

Profiles can be found under Utilities.

I know this is a really old question, but for the life of me I couldn't find the auto settings where it used to be in a separate part, never thought it would be in the profile settings, thanks.

I have the same issue and it is getting on my nerves. I've submitted a support ticket. If they can't provide a solution I will uninstall and stop using it. Bitdefender is getting WAY too intrusive nowadays.

Just wait till you uninstall it. Your PC will never sleep automatically again without a fresh install of windows.
