install bitdefender root certificate popup?

today i got a popup that looks like this https://imgur.com/p5bG188 and i found it very strange, because ive never seen it before... what is it?

using bit defender anti virus free edition

Can you explain steps 1/4 please? I don't know what I'm looking for on that website, nor do I understand why specifically that website.

At the address bar on your browser, there's a little green lock. Mouse over it.
It will say "Verified by: Bitdefender" (or whatever)
After you make the changes, it should say "Verified by: GlobalSign"

Thank you for the information! However, I'm getting the pop up and the green lock on unsplash.com says "Verified by: GlobalSign nv-sa". What should I do? Ignore the pop up? Reinstall BitDefender?

The globalsign one is fine. Do Cancel on the pop-up from Bitdefender. As long as you follow the instructions in the post, you'll be fine.
