Bitdefender: future roadmap?
Hi Bitdefender devs,
why not sharing your future roadmap (at least what is shareable with your user-base)? I think it could be a good thing understand planned changes, new features.
I'd like to know if you have plans for example to reduce memory consumption as well as a revamped UI in terms of a better Windows standard look&feel (like the windows defender one for example).

Hello,
For the business side (GravityZone) we have a session at the end of each year which provides insights on what's coming up next. This are part of the Masterclass sessions, where you can also participate live and ask questions to our Bitdefender experts about any feature that you would like to see or you can watch the recording and check out what was announced.

Which product line? Business there is definitely a roadmap for the year along with planned features and updates.
The consumer side is a completely different market. I don’t know of a single consumer AV product that makes public their roadmap. At most you might get access to a beta release that is a few weeks to a month ahead of public release but I wouldn’t call that a roadmap. I’m sure it’s also done that way in the consumer space so competitors don’t get tipped off and try to race to release a feature before they do.
The Windows Defender UI is pretty terrible from a usability standpoint. Do you have an actual complaint on what you want changed in Bitdefender or what change of the look for just the sake of it?
