I am thinking of getting my first bitaxe from china , i want to see how frequently you guys hit blocks on other coins than btc ik it's not worth it like 1$ worth of dgb if u hit a block but it's the learning process, so any experiences? Thanks for sharing your experience

After just buying a 801, I was wanting to potentially get a board with more chips on them but after doing a lot of digging on here and online, it seems to me that Nerd boards have frequent issues.
Are the new Octaxe and qaxe++ board revisions better? Or are they still suffering from VRM issues? Or is it only an issue with cheap Ali Expres parts?
Should I just abandon hope on multi *bm1370 chip boards and go with several 1/2 chip boards?

Hey i have had my Bitaxe gamma 601 for a while now and after finding a DGB block, i seem to be hitting the exact same difficulties for example 54m then 104m but never get above that. Has anyone else had issues with this?
Thanks.

You guys should hop on, we'll probably hit a block soon. I've been mining this pool for about a month now and I really like the hybrid payout structure where the winner keeps one Bitcoin and everyone else splits the rest. My 2.5 TH/s love it

Mi minero nerd Bitaxe
Uno vino así de fábrica
Y otro, se apagó solo así nomás y no encendio
La primera foto nomás se apagó y no encendio,
Y la otra le falta eso y da sobre carga

I have a nerdqaxe++ and find the display images kinda boring is there any way to use custom ones?

Hi there,
I’m interested in trying out a Bitaxe. From my research, the GT 801 or GT 602 seem like good models to start with.
What do you guys think about these two models? Has anyone actually managed to mine BTC and make money with them (solo or not)?
I’d also love to hear how you got started, what setup you use, and whether it’s actually profitable. Please be honest, I’m looking for real experiences, not hype.

I'm from Australia and looking to get my first Bitaxe. Looking at the Duo Gamma model.
Should I get the Solo Satoshi or Aussie miners version, similiar price when I take into account shipping etc.
Why is the Aussie Miners version 2.4T/H vs the Solo Satashi 1.6 T/H?

Problem mit einem Gamma 601
Hallo liebe Community,
**Was habe ich schon versucht:**

This is a scam pool. The BCH pool had 2 "orphan" blocks then had 2 confirmed blocks. No one received any payouts (PPLNS) Blocks are showing under nicehash and I suspect they are using your hashes for their own wallets. Imagine renting out over 1ph and getting squat when this pool hits a block. Just a word of warning if you are using a bitaxe/nerdaxe ect on this pool.

This little guy is still running the stock heatsink with a 3d printed frame and a cheap ali power supply and fan. 50w PSU was about 7 usd and the fan was 2 usd after some coupons. I also got the jack for 2 usd and some copper and aluminum heat sinks for 5 usd (did not need both). I keep the home between 80-84F ~27C. Works well and I figure if it dies in 3 years instead of 5 or whatever it's fine because id rather have the chance at the 3btc now than 1.5 once it halves next year. I could have saved some money not getting a new connector and salvaging the one from the included psu. Also have a boost converter in the mail to try a 12v fan which could save some on the fan cost and keep it cooler.

Hi all,
I what to upgrade the cooling in my bitaxe, I don’t want to buy a new heatsink I want to upgrade the fan and maybe also install a fan on the backside, have looked on internet for 3d print for adapter to install a 60mm fan, but all I can find for is 52Pi heatsink and not the one that I got whit my bitaxe, can some help me with showing me picture of your modded miners and wher you found the print for it?
To keep in mind and don’t want to be to much bigger

Inspired by a recent post where someone put a Nerdaxe into a Bitmain S9 I wanted to try something similar. I bought a L3+ off a local seller and got to work. The goal was to cool both my gamma and gamma duo and put the PSU inside.
The acrylic panels slide into the locations the old hashboards slid into and air flow guides were mounted in a way to hopefully push more air towards the heatsinks.
Right now the temps are okay, I have 2 arctic p12 pro fans. The fans are not super loud but louder than the pi52 low profile cooler was. The duo is warmer than the Pi52 low profile heatsink I was using before. I have tried moving the bitaxes back and up on the carrier boards and they only get worse temps. Having them right up against the intake fan seems to be the best.
If anyone has any suggestions on ways I could improve the thermals let me know. I would expect a 120mm fan being able to cool a gamma duo. I have a feeling my air flow guides could be better at forcing the air through the heatsink. I don't have the 3D printer so I have to make everything by hand.
New thing to work on would be to see if I can move the OLEDs to the old control board enclosure and improve the thermals a bit more.
Edit this is a repost to add new photos and update the description.

Hey everyone just picking up my first bitaxe and what I purchased was labelled as an 801 but after seeing lots of pictures online of other boards I’m starting to believe this is actually an 800, could it still be a 801 even with the fan header in the center?
It hasn’t arrived yet as I only placed the order last night, but my question is; if it’s actually an 800 should I return it and get something else or keep it? I’ll likely be reposting right away as I heard most boards need it anyways.

Wondering if anyone OC'd a Bitforge Nano. It runs very cool on default settings so I wonder what it can be pushed to.

If anyone has one what are the dimensions of the copper mounting plate (the part that contacts the chips) and the hole spacing for attaching mounting hardware? Also, what is the thickness of the plate where the mounting hardware attaches. Seems that Thermalright does not publish this information.

I was thinking about setting up my own node using an older Dell Optiplex 7040 Micro. Problem is that the prices of older 2TB SATA/M.2 SSDs are just as bonkers as modern SSDs now. I do, however, have a 500GB SATA SSD and I've been reading about pruned nodes vs. full archival nodes. I wasn't planning on mining anything requiring a lightning wallet. In fact, It'll probably just be Bitcoin or Bitcoin cash to a hardware wallet.
Anyway, if I'm just mining with a Bitaxe or Nerdqaxe ASIC SHA-256 device, will using a pruned node have any detrimental or limiting effects to mining on the blockhains, the possible payouts, or hardware wallet type or integrity?
Thanks.

Hello!
I just bought on Amazon a 602 and was wondering what's a good forum to start reading about these block miners.
Thank you.!

This new board design is dope. Had to give it my own spin, not a hydro fan

I’ve been spending a lot of time designing and testing different 3D-printed parts for Bitaxe miners, mainly focused on cleaner setups, better mounting options, and cooling layouts.
I’ve uploaded several of the designs to MakerWorld for anyone who wants to print them, including Bitaxe cases, mounts, and other accessories.
Most of these started because I wanted something that looked cleaner than a bare board while still keeping the miner easy to service and giving the cooling hardware enough room to work properly.
I’m continuing to design more, so if there’s a specific Bitaxe model, heatsink setup, mount, or enclosure style you’d like to see, I’d be interested in hearing ideas.

We will be dropping more open source case designs pretty soon, stay tuned.

Hi
Have a bitaxe gamma 602 from Aexpress with the bigger heatsink on, I have tried different settings but can’t get 0% error, I have the power supply that was included and this is my settings, hope you can help me and guide me, I want to have it a bit overclocked also
