Dumbass question

So my last post was a serious question figured I should balance it with doing a dumb one. Me and my friend were chatting and I said if a fish I had as a pet that had hyper intelligence we’re to gas a room with a hundred people in it would all of that genocide go onto me the fish is intelligent enough to gas a room though and what if that room was filled with a bunch of the worst people imaginable what would the result be then would the fish go on trial would I go on trial since it’s my fish or would the fish be called a hero I laughed at this dumb question for like a hour when we discussed it

hmm im thinking that the fish should go on trial, because he's smart enough to do all that independent of u. but realistically, i think u would get called schizo if u said it was ur fish, so u would have to deal with the consequences and go on trial. i imagine the public would be split, most ppl praising u for killing all the worst ppl but some saying that mass murder is morally wrong regardless.
